My Oldest DD has been stealing my sleeping mask so I made up a pattern for her. This one was done with some scrap yarn I had that was 100% cotton. It took me about 20 minutes from start to finish! Enjoy
DK weight yarn and a G hook was used
DC: double crochet
SC: single crochet
st: stitch
Chain 8
DC (double crochet) one row then turn your work
SC (single crochet)until the total project measures about 2 inches.
Start decreases which will shape for the nose
SC 2 then skip one st and sc in the next (2x)
Next row decrease every other st until you have 4 sts on your hook
SC across your 4 sts for 2 rows
Start increases :)
SC 2 on the 3rd st SC 2x in one st SC 1
SC 2 on the 3rd st SC 2x in one st SC 2
SC 3 on the 4th st SC 2x in one st SC 2
SC across until work measures aprox 1.5inches and then do a row of DC. tie off
Puffs on top!
Do a puff sts along the top for desired effect or you can do a double half crochet if you prefer.
Add ribbon or chain a cord for the ties. Weave in the ends and voila!
